Golden Frog joined Connect Yorkshire in 2019, following a recommendation from a fellow member. It’s a membership organisation offering the owners and directors of companies in the Yorkshire region the opportunity to join for peer support, training and networking. It also has access to some of Yorkshire’s most prolific entrepreneurs who give their time freely as Entrepreneurs in Residence. As part of membership each member gets a regular mentoring session with an EIR.

To be nominated for Connect Yorkshire’s Small Business of the Year award was exciting enough, but to win meant so much. At Golden Frog we spend huge amounts of time entering into awards for our clients. We never enter ourselves. In fact we didn’t enter ourselves for this one, the nominations came from an impartial panel. To us, that meant it was even more special. We could not have been more surprised!

Thanks to all at Connect Yorkshire for providing our little business with a boost – we can now officially say we are ‘award winning’ and our lovely trophy has taken pride of place in the office.
